Edward has previously been a partner at Brookstreet Des Roches and Thrings solicitors. He has broad commercial property experience and acts for both corporate and private clients.
Edward’s main practice areas are:
- residential and commercial development work, acting in particular for landowners and land promoters on option agreements, promotion agreements, conditional contracts and overages; and
- commercial conveyancing and landlord and tenant work in relation to office, industrial and retail premises.
Edward’s recent experience includes:
- acting for landowners on the sale of sites under option and promotion agreements in the south west, with consent for mixed use development including for circa 1,300 dwellings and 1,500 dwellings;
- acting for landowners and for land promoters on promotion agreements for sites of up to 350 acres;
- acting for a landowner on the sale of a site in multiple ownership with consent for 2,000 plus dwellings;
- acting for tenants on agreements for lease, conditional on planning, for new-build light industrial/office buildings in the south east with GIA’s of approximately 160,000 square feet and 110,000 square feet;
- acting for a landlord on the re-financing of a central London office building with an NIA of approximately 55,000 square feet; and
- Acting for a tenant on new leases of approx.17,500 square feet of refurbished office space in central London.
